Global Harvest Church exists to worship the living God by being
a hospital for the hurting, a health
club to strengthen the treated ones, and a harvest
to reach the world for Christ.
GHC became an independent church in 1996 and has been led over
a decade by Pastor
Jon Choi. We are a Southern Baptist, evangelical Christian
church. We have three full-time pastoral staff,
three part-time staff and an ordained deacon
board. In additional to traditional Sunday services for
children and adults, GHC functions and serves extensively through
small groups, Community Groups for college and singles and
House Churches for families. About 300 people worship at GHC
every Sunday.
Hospital
Jesus taught in Mark 2:17, “Those who are well have no need
of a physician, but those who are sick; I came not to call the
righteous, but sinners.” A
hospital is a place where the sick go to get healed. GHC is
a place where spiritual healing takes place.
Health Club In
Acts 16:5, we learn that “the churches were strengthened in
the faith, and they increased in numbers daily.” A health
club is a place where one can exercise and get healthy. GHC
is a place where one can exercise and grow their spiritual
health.
Harvest
In
in Mattew 9:37-38 Jesus taught his disciples, "The harvest
is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the
harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.
The harvest involves reaching out to the lost, spreading the
Good News, and fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt. 28).
GHC is a place focused on reaching out to the lost through
evangelism, community service, and missions. |
