Hello Church Family,
The past few months have been challenging for all of us, but my prayer is that this writing finds you safe and well. Over recent months, churches everywhere have scrambled to find new ways to serve their congregations in this ever-changing climate of information overload, and GHC is no different in that regard. However, many people have diligently joined us in prayer, and as always, our Lord has proven His goodness and mercy.
Recently, it was my privilege to announce the reopening of our church, which will be rolled out in a phased approach. As we continue to evaluate the impact of COVID-19, GHC will continue to work to protect the health of our church family and community. Phase one will begin on Sunday, September 13th, which also coincides with GHC’s 24th anniversary. In accordance with guidelines provided by county and state officials, we are limiting the number of attendees for our Sunday morning worship service (sign-up sheet and waiver of liability will be available soon). During phase one the Sunday morning worship service will be open to adults and youth only. Services for the Children’s ministry and the Nursery/Pre-School ministry will continue to be offered online. As such, the education building will remain closed until further notice. We will continue to broadcast our 10:05 worship service for those who prefer to stay home or are unable to join us in person.
Please know that the senior leadership of GHC is committed to protecting your health and safety and remain vigilant in taking every reasonable precaution possible. Your prayers and flexibility are greatly appreciated during these times. Precautions will include (but are not limited to):
Masks – Masks will be required. Extra masks will be available in the event that you forget yours.
Entry Requirements – Only people who are listed on the sign-up sheet and are fever-free will be allowed into the building.
Increased Cleaning – Portions of the building, specifically the worship center and high-traffic areas will be thoroughly sanitized before and after service.
Hand Sanitizer Stations – Stations with hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the church.
Social Distancing (six-foot requirement) – For your protection, proper distancing will be adhered to in the worship center. Please follow distancing requirements throughout the building. If you feel comfortable to do so, please have fellowship outside the church in the open air.
Touchless Environment – No paper items will be available in the worship area. Bibles, pens, notepads and all other informational items have been removed. All internal church doors will remain open and drinking fountains will be turned off.
Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of the Global Harvest Church family. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. In this and every season, our prayer is that you find joy and peace in God’s everlasting love (Romans 8:38-39)
